Founder Lorna Day began her culinary journey as a young waitress with big dreams and an appetite for more. At 26, she opened Metro Blues Café, a 150-seat restaurant · no formal training, just determination, raw talent, and a deep love for hospitality. Success came quickly, but it came at a cost: declining health, emotional burnout, and the sobering realization that she was simply surviving, not truly living. By 2001, Lorna had launched Ooo La La and quickly became a leader in the Treasure Coast catering scene. Drawing from her hands-on culinary wins and entrepreneurial drive, she authored The Fook Book: Untraditional Recipes for Sexy People, which earned local acclaim and led to a popular radio show, a food and wine column, and her well-known dining reviews.

Then came 2020. As the world paused, so did the food industry — but for Lorna, it became a moment of rebirth. Her love for wine reignited, and the vision for Ooo La La Life began to take shape.
Lorna’s two children, Remington & Christina are the reason she continues to work on restructuring her brand.
